The Linear equation formula is given by

y=mx+b

Where,
m determines the slope of that line,
b determines the point at which the line crosses

Question 1: Solve for x: 5x + 6 = 11

Solution:

Given function is 5x + 6 = 11
5x = 11 – 6
x = 55 = 1
Therefore, x = 1
