Our Commitment to Corrections
SenseCentral takes errors seriously. When we make mistakes, we correct them promptly, transparently, and without attempting to hide the original error.
Types of Corrections
Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are fixed silently. Factual corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with a clear "Correction:" note explaining what was changed and why. Significant corrections that materially change the meaning of an article are disclosed prominently.
Correction Process
When an error is identified — whether by our team, a reader, or a subject of coverage — we investigate immediately. If the error is confirmed, we correct the article and add a correction note within 24 hours.
Retractions
In rare cases where an article is fundamentally flawed and cannot be corrected, we retract it entirely. Retracted articles are replaced with a retraction notice explaining why the article was removed.
How to Report an Error
To report an error, email editorial@sensecentral.com with the article URL, the specific error, and the correct information with a source. We respond to all correction requests within 48 hours.
