Ethics Policy

The principles that guide our journalism

Last updated: August 2026

Core Principles

SenseCentral is guided by the principles of accuracy, independence, fairness, transparency, and accountability. These principles apply to all editorial staff, contributing writers, and freelancers.

Conflicts of Interest

Staff must disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could create a conflict of interest. Staff may not write about companies in which they hold financial interests. Gifts from sources are not accepted.

Independence from Advertisers

Our editorial team operates independently from our advertising and business teams. Advertisers have no influence over our coverage. We do not publish pay-to-play content without clear labeling.

Privacy

We respect the privacy of individuals, particularly private citizens. We do not publish private information without consent unless there is a clear public interest. We follow applicable privacy laws.

Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to diverse representation in our coverage and our team. We seek out voices from underrepresented communities and avoid stereotyping.

Reporting Ethical Concerns

If you have concerns about our ethical standards, contact our editor-in-chief at ethics@sensecentral.com. All concerns are investigated seriously.
