Barnwell Services stock a full range of V Rings / V Seals designed to be used in many rotary sealing applications.
V Rings / V Seals are a relatively low-cost method of sealing and can be used as an auxiliary seal to prevent the ingress of dust and water. The seals are all rubber and an interference fit on the shaft, they then rotate with the shaft, sealing axially against the counterface.
V Rings are used in a variety of equipment in electric motors, conveyors domestic appliances and marine applications. Materials for the seals include Nitrile (NBR), Viton® (FKM / FPM), EPDM, Neoprene.
The four standard V Ring profiles are:- A, S, L and E. Other profiles available on request are: AX, LX, RM, and RME.
